We’re truly excited to announce a listening session for Hania Rani’s fourth album “Nostalgia” released in September 2024 on Gondwana Records. It is the first to feature both her music and analog photography and as she describes it’s also her first ‘real’ live album, recorded at the Witold Lutosławski’s Concert Studio 1 at the Polish Radio in Warsaw and one live performance from Roundhouse London.
“Nostalgia” is a beautifully introspective album that combines Hania Rani’s classical piano with subtle electronic and ambient textures. Her compositions create a rich, atmospheric journey that invites listeners into a world of quiet reflection and emotional resonance. For this very special recording, Hania is joined by Ziemowit Klimek on double bass and Moog, as well as a An eight-piece string ensemble.
The music is brought to life as Hania’s ethereal vocals, exquisite piano, and captivating compositions are enriched by the sweeping strings of the expanded
ensemble.
Join us on November 25th, where we’ll gather together to experience this remarkable masterpiece in an intimate setting with a full focus on the beauty and emotions of her music and analog photography.
We’ll also listen to selections from Hania’s discography, creating a full evening immersed in her
captivating soundscapes.
The evening will be hosted by our Polish native @elderwoods from Rhinoceros Team.
