No Room For Squares Session 55 – Searows – Death in the Business of Whaling (2025)

This month, we’re taking a different approach: we’ve partnered with the agency Look Out Kid and are happy to present the music of Searows, a US artist coming to Europe in March present their new record live. The album’s tracks move from the droning, banjo-laced opener “Belly of the Whale” to heavier cuts like “Hunter,” reverb-drenched pieces like “Junie,” and the dynamic “Dearly Missed,” before closing with the spectral “Geese.” Across the record, Searows treats music as his most truthful form of communication, inviting listeners into an immersive, transforming experience that “engulfs” rather than simply plays in the background.​
