First Listen Session: Pino Palladino & Blake Mills – That Wasn’t A Dream (Impulse! – 2025)

Join us for a pre-release listening session of “That Wasn’t A Dream” – the stunning new album by legendary bassist Pino Palladino and producer/multi-instrumentalist Blake Mills, out on August 22 via Impulse!

This new record continues the sonic journey they began on Notes With Attachments, blending deep groove, minimal funk, and experimental jazz into a uniquely intimate and daring sound. Featuring guest appearances by Sam Gendel and Mills’ own fretless baritone sustainer guitar. Music to listen close and get lost into  details.

Note that this event is not a usual listening session in the way we do it on mondays. It is an exclusive playback before release, means, you are able to talk, order, drink, comment, come and go.
